Munkelva is a river in Sør-Varanger municipality, about 8 km from Neidenbrua along Europavei 6 towards Kirkenes. It has its sources on the plains northeast of Lake Inari in Finland and flows into Munkefjorden at the bottom of Neidenfjorden. The river is 51.8 kilometers long. Europavei 6 crosses the river at Munkbakken near the mouth.
