The Neidenelva is one of Norway's best salmon rivers. The fishing zone on the Norwegian side is a stretch of 27 km and where Langfossen is the most famous rapid for fishing. Fishing season: 20.06.2026 -31.07.2026
All salmon over 70 cm are protected and must be released back into the wild.
Daily quota: 1 killed salmon less than 70 cm
Seasonal quota: 3 killed salmon less than 70 cm (C&R as in 2025)
When quotas are met, fishing should be terminated.
Prices:
1200 NOK/day. The entire river.
750 NOK/day. No fly zone.
Maximum 20 cards sold per day in the fly zone.
It will be announced when the ticket sales open.
Mid-season evaluation (approximately July 12) may result in changes to the fishery.
