October-November. In early October there are good opportunities to see the Northern Lights. There is also fall grazing for reindeer and moose. Now the animals need to build up fat reserves for the winter, which can be very cold. The first snowfall normally comes at the end of October. This is a good time for tracking and hunting for small game.
